i installed x86 iso found in msdn for VS2010 ultimate on my win 7

i installed x86 iso found in msdn for VS2010 ultimate on my win 7 64 bit. when i try to launch the IDE it gives methe following error

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). click ok to close the application
the title of the popup is devenv.exe

any ideas?

    had to install C++ as as part of VS to get it to work
