    Something like this might work for you:

    NSString *fileContents = [NSString stringWithContentsOfFile:@"myfile.txt"];
    NSArray *lines = [fileContents componentsSeparatedByString:@"\n"];
    

    This will give you an array where each element is a line of the string.
