    Figured it out:

    Call with: setUIFont (new javax.swing.plaf.FontUIResource(new Font("MS Mincho",Font.PLAIN, 12)));

    private static void setUIFont(javax.swing.plaf.FontUIResource f)
    {
        java.util.Enumeration<Object> keys = UIManager.getDefaults().keys();
        while (keys.hasMoreElements())
        {
