    Update
    I created this demo for you 🙂

    You can do that easily with slideToggle() function of JQuery:

    <div id="hello">Hello World</div>
    <a href="#" id="link">Toggle Div</a>

    JQuery:

    $(function(){
        $('#link').click(function(){
          $('#hello').slideToggle();
          return false;
        })
    });
