I saw _=$=+[],++_+''+$ that evaluates to 10 in this question Why does ++[[]][+[]]+[+[]] return the string "10"?. ( http://jsfiddle.net/tVMqM/ ).

Can someone please explain me why?

    Adds 0 to string +$
