Question

I want the dialog box to open when the user clicks on the delete button (input type=”submit”), but nothing happens, not even a JS error.

Missed the pound sign:

$( "dialog-confirm" ).dialog( "open" );

should be

$( "#dialog-confirm" ).dialog( "open" );
