I want to do a SELECT DISTINCT guid, … , but I don’t want

I want to do a SELECT DISTINCT guid, ..., but I don’t want guid appearing in the recordset. How do I do this?

    Wrap it in a subselect?

    select my, interesting, columns
from (
    select distinct GUID, ...
    from ...
)
