    Batteries included:

    Python3

    import hashlib
    import time

    hashlib.sha1().update(str(time.time()).encode("utf-8"))
    print(hashlib.sha1().hexdigest())
    print(hashlib.sha1().hexdigest()[:10])

    Python2

    import hashlib
    import time

    hash = hashlib.sha1()
    hash.update(str(time.time()))
    print hash.hexdigest()
    print hash.hexdigest()[:10]
