    Sorry for previous post,

    This is a correct one:

    DateFormat dateFormat = new SimpleDateFormat ("dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss");
    Date date = new Date();
    String output = dateFormat.format(date); 
    System.out.println(output);
    

    And prints :

    27/09/2012 09:42:36
