i want to parse any datetime format to dd/MM/yyyy format. here is my code

i want to parse any datetime format to dd/MM/yyyy format.

here is my code

// dates i am providing are
// Sat, 01 Oct 2011 17:30:00 +0400
// and
// Sat, 01 October   2011 12:21:23 EST

Datetime  dt = Convert.toDateTime(pubDate);

which is giving me following exception

The string was not recognized as a valid DateTime. There is an unknown word starting at index 32

any one guide me how can i parse any dateformat to a single one?
any help would be appreciated.

    Remove the ‘EST’ from the string and it should work.
