    This should work:

    <?php
        session_start();
        if (isset($_SESSION['user'])){
            header('Location: http://www.yoursite.com/');
            die();
        }
    ?>

    If you want to redirect the user after x senconds, then use

        <?php
            session_start();
            if (isset($_SESSION['user'])){
                header( "refresh:3;url=whatever.php" );
            }
        ?>
