Im not able to put the Lines under CDATA should be used as is in the method

    For retriveing the character data (CDATA) You do something like this,

    import org.w3c.dom.Element;

     public static String getCharacterDataFromElement(Element e) {
        Node child = e.getFirstChild();

          CharacterData cd = (CharacterData) child;
          return cd.getData();
        }
        return "";
      }
