I’m retrieving the following content from URL for XML parsing. My problem is in the <description> tag, I want to view the contents of the <description> tag in the HTML view. If it is a text only, then I can able to format it to HTML using Html.fromHtml() method. But it is mixed up with image tags and text. I don’t create a view for it.

You can use any of the available html parsers like HtmlCleaner or JSoup. These can clean the image tags, urls from the content passed and return pure text.

Have a look at HtmlCleaner doc
