    And here is the code for you 

    android.provider.Settings.System.putInt(getContentResolver(),
android.provider.Settings.System.ACCELEROMETER_ROTATION,1);

    And this permission required in Manifest

    <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_SETTINGS" />
