When I’m starting this service in my browser, I can see the .svc file and the wsdl file from this URL http://localhost:55149/RestServiceImpl.svc, but when I try to go to

http://localhost:55149/RestServiceImpl.svc/xml/123 or http://localhost:55149/RestServiceImpl.svc/json/123

There is nothing outputted to the browser. On the other hand, if I test this with the WCF Test Client, adding some value, E.G 123 the Output from the XML will be

Your config shows that you have not exposed the webHttBinding on “RestService.RestServiceImpl” service.

Add the below endpoint element and the behaviour and get your service enabled for rest

<endpoint address="rest" binding="webHttpBinding" behaviorConfiguration="web" contract="RestService.IRestServiceImpl">
</endpoint>
