I’m trying to make a url rewrite, mod_rewrite is enabled, I’m sure my .htaccess file is fine, never touched the apache2.conf, my httpd.conf is empty and at sites-available my default file was modified on line 7 from AllowOverride None to AllowOverride All.

AllowOverride Allon the root directory, but then disabled it on /var/www/. I am going to guess that you intended to useLocation /instead ofDirectory /.Additional clarification
