.classproperty always returns aClassobject. TheClassclass (weird) has a generic parameter. The generic parameter types are subclasses.And because with generics,
Type<foo>is NOT a supertype ofType<subtype_of_foo>(see the Java tutorials), this means, that the answer is “No”.
