Output:

Why do the last two lines produce different values? Something I am doing wrong with pointer arithmetic?

    (&te + sizeof(double))
    

    This is the same as:

    &((&te)[sizeof(double)])
    

    You should do:

    (char*)(&te) + sizeof(int)
