    Yes, it’s possible:

    public interface IVehicle { /* declare all common methods here */ }
    public class Car implements IVehicle { /* ... */ }
    public class Bus implements IVehicle { /* ... */ }
    
    List<IVehicle> vehicles = new ArrayList<IVehicle>();
    

    The vehicles list will accept any object that implements IVehicle.
