    com.sun.codemodel.JOp.cond should already generate a ternary operator. See the source:

    public static JExpression cond(JExpression cond, JExpression ifTrue, JExpression ifFalse) {
         return new TernaryOp("?", ":", cond, ifTrue, ifFalse);
