is there a way to detect if a header of a section in an UITableView is currently floating? I want to scroll the table view to the header position only if it is floating.
Thanks in advance!

The header will be floating if the first cell of the section is no longer visible. So:
You could achieve a similar effect by scrolling to the index path with
scrollToRowAtIndexPath:atScrollPosition:animated:and a scroll position ofUITableViewScrollPositionNone– this would not scroll if the first cell in the section was already on the screen.
