    SEL is just a pointer, which you could store in an NSValue:

    NSDictionary *dict = [NSDictionary dictionaryWithObjectsAndKeys:
                           [NSValue valueWithPointer:@selector(foo)], @"foo",
                           nil];

    To get the selector back, you can use:

    SEL aSel = [[dict objectForKey:@"foo"] pointerValue];
