    Yes you can just use the .id property of the dom element, for example:

    myDOMElement.id
    

    Or, something like this:

    var inputs = document.getElementsByTagName("input");
    for (var i = 0; i < inputs.length; i++) {
      alert(inputs[i].id);
    }
