You can use Tomahawk’s <t:inputDate>.

Using it is as simple as:

<t:inputDate type="date" 
       popupCalendar="false" value="#{yourBean.yourDateValue}" />

You should add the tomahawk jar file to your classpath in order to use it, and import the tomahawk namespace:
