Question

i’ve been trying to do this for awhile but i’m not sure.

For an example, The listbox contents are:

id = 0 - Block
id = 1 - Cow

What I want is to get only the id number to be displayed onto a textbox

So for a textbox, it would appear like this:

0
1

Without the other stuff.

maybe:

Dim s = ListBox1.SelectedItem.ToString()
s = s.replace("id =","")  'remove "id ="
s = s.Substring(0,s.IndexOf("-")-1).Trim() 'truncate s from the start to the "-"
