Question

I’ve got a spring roo project and I would like to have the ability of allowing a user to be able to download a pdf from my project. I know how to generate the PDF but I’m not entirely sure about how to install iText 5.1.2 into my spring Roo project.

To add iText to your Maven project, just add the following dependencies:

  <dependency>
    <groupId>com.itextpdf</groupId>
    <artifactId>itextpdf</artifactId>
    <version>5.1.2</version>
  </dependency>

  <dependency>
    <groupId>com.itextpdf.tool</groupId>
    <artifactId>xmlworker</artifactId>
    <version>1.1.0</version>  
  </dependency>

</dependencies>
