Let’s say I have different JS functions…

function stores(NY)
{
blah, blah, blah...
}
function stores(CA)
{
blah, blah, blah...
}
function stores(FL)
{
blah, blah, blah...
}

And I wish to run them from this drop-down menu…

<select onchange="stores(this.value);">
<option>Please select your state from this list...</option>
<option value="NY">New York</option>
<option value="CA">California</option>
<option value="FL">Florida</option>
</select>

And so on up to 50 US States, that’s why I need a simple way to call these functions but this is not working. Any ideas will be much appreciated. Thank y’all in advanced!

    You just need one function.

    function stores(city) {
      if (city === 'NY') {
        //blah, blah, blah...
      } else if (city === 'CA') {
        //blah, blah, blah...
      } else if (...) {
        // ... and so on
      }
      // ...
    }
