        console.log('success');
    }
});

    Check out HTTParty, great gem https://github.com/jnunemaker/httparty

    Example:

    response = HTTParty.post(url, body: data)
    puts response.body, response.code, response.message, response.headers.inspect
    

    Although I believe it is synchronous- dont quote me on that though
