Say a webpage has a function like: function abc (){ return ‘abc’; } How

Say a webpage has a function like:

function abc (){
return 'abc';
}

How would I execute and receive the return value of that function from my extension? I’ve tried this, no dice:

var s = getBrowser.contentWindow.abc();
