so I run: $ gem install rails –version 3.0.1 Successfully installed rails-3.0.1 1 gem

so I run:

$ gem install rails --version 3.0.1

Successfully installed rails-3.0.1
1 gem installed

then I get the error:

$ rails -v

    You may need to update to bundler 1.1.4.

    gem update bundler

    should do the trick.
