it doesn’t throw any exception but returns null value, Even procedure working fine in SSMS

    Make sure SqlHelper.ExecuteQuery is reading the output parameter value after executing the sproc.

    e.g.

    yourCommand.ExecuteNonQuery();
    string retVal = yourCommand.Parameters["@retVal"].Value;
