    You only need to detect the WM_DISPLAYCHANGE message.

    For instance,

    TForm1 = class(TForm)

      procedure WMDisplayChange(var Message: TWMDisplayChange);
        message WM_DISPLAYCHANGE;

      { Public declarations }
    end;
    
    ...
