Because right now when i press or click return it goes to the previous html page.

so it seems you want to keep a history of the state of a page after ajax calls.
the easy answer is to check out either YUI History Manager ( http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/history/ ) or jQuery history plugin ( http://tkyk.github.com/jquery-history-plugin/ )
