You can add the swipe recognizer to only the view you want to swipe. Or, you can do this:

swipeRightRecognizer.delegate = self;
//...


- (BOOL)gestureRecognizer:(UIGestureRecognizer *)gestureRecognizer
       shouldReceiveTouch:(UITouch *)touch {
    return (touch.view == myViewThatShouldReceiveSwipes);
}
