NSMutableDictionary * alphaToNum = [NSMutableDictionary dictionary];

NSInteger index =0;

for (NSString * character in alphabets) {

    index++;
    [alphaToNum setObject:character forKey:[NSNumber numberWithInteger:index]];
}

NSLog(@"%@",[alphaToNum objectForKey:@"d"]);

and every time I try to get some value for my key I only get 0 .
