This regex is supposed to validate if a URL is contained within a given message.
It’s not even letting in messages of the form:
"test message......testing"
Here’s the regex:
var re = /(http[s]?:\/\/){0,1}(www\.){0,1}[a-zA-Z0-9\.\-]+\.[a-zA-Z]{2,5}[\.]{0,1}/;
What am I doing wrong?
