This should be pretty simple but for some reason I can’t get this value to update in my database. I’ve used a line of code on a different page that was nearly identical and it worked fine. The only differences are the if statement and the WHERE statement.

Any ideas as to why it wont update the value?

Try checking the value of $item_number and return value of the mysql_query.
Also check all that all the if conditions are properly closed.
