Question

Trying to mess with this wordpress theme and can’t figure out why the sidebar is stacking underneath the content block. Any help would be very appreciated. http://www.buffalostreetbooks.com/events

Well, inside your container div you can swap the position of both divs (the sidebar and content) and then make the sidebar div float: left.

If you don’t want to move the content, you can achieve this by changing the CSS only.
Make the div#content float: right
make the div#sidebar float: left
under the div.sidebar rule remove the clear:both
