When I try to start my Jersey based web application I occasionally get an exception with the attached stack trace.

I think it is caused by a failure in the xerces XML parsing within the web application loading in glassfish to be able to fetch the DTD file for a JSP tag lib definition included in Jersey. Obviously I do not want my application to fail to start every time the server hosting the .tld DTD has a problem.

Anyone know of a way to disable this DTD fetching? Or a way to cache them locally or something similar? Or some other solution to this problem?

This seems to be a bug in glassfish-embedded

Looks like it has been fixed in version 3.1_ms06
