    Doing borders on tables with css is a bit more complicated (but not as much, see this jsfiddle as example):

    table {
      border-collapse: collapse;
      border: 1px solid black;
    }
    
    table td {
      border: 1px solid black;
    }

        <td>test</td>
      </tr>
