    What you want to look into is a Rewrite Engine, if you’re using Apache, I think what you want is mod_rewrite.

    EDIT:

    Example:

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^page(/?)$ /page.php [NC,QSA,L]
