I have this code in my fancybox script:

<a href="#" class="approve" id="178">yes</a>

When I try and use:

 var getid = $(this).attr('id');
 alert(getid);

I always get undefined. Can anyone please help?

var getid = $('.approve').attr('id');
alert(getid);
