(* env) -> GetByteArrayRegion (env, array, 0, len, (jbyte *)buf);

Get <PrimitiveTypeArray>ArrayRegionis a family of functions that copies a region of a primitive array into a buffer. That’s what the documentation says. It seems clear to me.
